Today we have a recipe for you that was created to use the power of everyday vegetables to give you sublime skin. The best bit is that most of you will already have these ingredients in your fridge or garden.
This recipe is blended instead of using a juicer for the maximum nutrient hit. Don’t worry about being precise with the measurements!
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup silverbeet / spinach / kale / chard
- 1 cup cos lettuce
- 1 cup celery stalk or cucumber
- ½ cup parsley
- ½ cup mint
- 1 banana
- ½ apple
- ½ pear
- 1 small lemon
- Ginger (optional)
- Place all ingredients in a blender and turn it on
- Pour into glass
- Drink and enjoy
It does taste best when cold, so if you don’t love the flavour, load up on ice! You can also add some ginger if you want to give it a kick in the flavour pants.
