But please don't panic - we're not going anywhere! However, Happy Skincare as you know it isn't going to be around anymore.... Because after a LOT of ummmm-ing and aaaaaah-ing we've decided to..... rename Happy Skincare!
Our very own cosmetic formulator mastermind, Aaron, used to struggle with using deodorants back in his pre-Woohoo days as they caused extreme irritation under his pits – usually uncomfortable redness and itchiness. If you’ve been blessed with ultra-sensitive skin like Aaron, you understand just how difficult it can be.
While for some, stress manifests in the inability to sleep, hair loss or eating a tub (or two) of ice cream, another part of your body that takes a hit is your skin. That’s because stress triggers a chemical response in your body, which can make your skin more sensitive and reactive.
It may be just us but it seems as though the skincare world has gotten lazy when it comes to products that help blemishes (pimples and acne, that is). Here are a few sustainable swaps we are totally all for this Plastic Free July (and beyond).
We recently asked you what your favourite Happy products are and why. It was SO much fun to read about the natural formulations you all can’t live without, and which standout products get multiple ticks of approval (*ahem* looking at you Cloud 9 Deep Cleansing Balm!).
Applying vitamin-enriched lotions and potions can bring fantastical results to your skin when compared to when you eat that very same vitamin, protecting against free-radical damage, lessening hyperpigmentation and helping mature skin flourish. Our favourite skin vitamins are Vitamins A, B3, C and E, and here's why....
